Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel: gifts offered to celebrate the success of the game

The Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel video card game is showering the success of its successful launch with several announcements.

Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel gives you gifts

Available since January 18 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), iOS and Android, the free card game Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel is currently a success for Konami.

In a press release, the Japanese publisher is pleased to have had more than 50 million downloads “only nine months after launch”. To mark the occasion, the players or rather the “Duellists” are offered a bonus of 1000 Gems, as well as a special Five-Headed Dragon protection to embellish their cards.

Konami also states that a new secret pack “Abyss Alba” has been added to Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel. It notably includes maps around Albaz the Fallen.

“Alba Abyss” includes cards based on Albaz the Fallen and its Fusion Summon effects, which summon mighty dragons. This Secret Pack includes new cards for Yu-Gi-Oh Master DUEL, including Alba-Lenatus the Dragon of the Abyss, Albaz the Ashen and Banishment of the Marked.

Even bigger prizes for the best Duelists

In parallel with these announcements which are aimed at everyone, Konami informs us of the organization of a new European competition for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel: the Challenger Cup. Tournaments set up by content creators including:

More than 15 hosts are already confirmed including SuperZouloux, Schattenspieler, Mangaka96, Lithium2300 and Renebrain.

Between December 17, 2022 and February 23, 2023, no less than 85 tournaments will take place. A prerequisite is mandatory: to be resident in Europe. The best Duelists, who will be more than 1000, can hope to leave with hoodies and card sleeves bearing the image of the game, PS5, Nintendo Switch or even Lifeguard Rabbit soft toys.
