Jurassic World 3: A New Age is the grand finale to the dinosaur saga that began with Jurassic Park in 1993. Now the duration of the mega-blockbuster has been announced – and it is just below “Avengers 3” & “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.

The first rumors came up on Monday, but now we can also confirm from a reliable source: With a running time of 146 minutes, i.e. 2 hours and 26 minutes, “Jurassic World 3” is significantly longer than all its predecessors, reported colliders.
Now, “Jurassic World 3” with its 2 hours and 26 minutes is still far from the 3-hour running time of “Avengers: Endgame” or “The Batman”, but compared to the previous films in the series, the running time is different nonetheless significant. The longest “Jurassic” film to date was “Jurassic Park 2” with a length of only 2 hours and 9 minutes. So that’s a whopping 17 minutes difference.
Here are all the “Jurassic” films and their respective running times:
“Jurassic World 3” is with the of colliders The announced running time is about as long as the Marvel blockbusters “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2 hours, 28 minutes) and “Avengers: Infinity War” (2 hours, 29 minutes). The reason for this is obvious: “Jurassic World 3” is intended to conclude both the “Jurassic World” series and the entire “Jurassic” saga, which also includes the three “Jurassic Park” films.
This is what Jurassic World 3 is about
At the end of Jurassic World 2, the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar escaped. Four years later, they have populated the entire world, which is why humans now face a constant threat. Of course, raptor trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and ex-Jurassic World amusement park boss Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) are back in the middle of the prehistoric action. But the “Jurassic Park” veterans Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Dr. Ian Sattler (Jeff Goldblum) are part of the party.
Together, the old and new heroes have to survive the dinosaur catastrophe. Will they find a way for humanity to survive side by side with the primeval lizards, or is it only the survival of the fittest that counts in the end?
“Jurassic World 3: A New Age“ starts on June 9, 2022, in German cinemas.
