Xiaomi wants to hit hard
For this Mini Host, Xiaomi has chosen an Intel Core processor of 12e Alder Lake generation as the engine. As you can imagine, this is a CPU that is intended only for laptops. This is the Intel Core i5 1240P. This offers 2 cores and 16 threads and the chip reaches a Turbo frequency of 4.40 GHz in Performance and 3.3 GHz on the Efficiency cores.
To support all this we find 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. Finally, Xiaomi offers a decent storage (for the size) of 512 GB in NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. Far from being stingy in connectivity, you can take advantage of two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 2.5 GbE port, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a USB 2.0 Type-A port and two HDMI ports. So there is everything you need to connect peripherals and a screen. For the wireless side, the Mini Host adopts Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connections.

Currently only available in China it is announced at the price 3999 yuan or 540 euros approximately.
