As Xbox gamers are well aware, Microsoft is fond of special models of its controllers. Whether it is commercialized controllers or customized versions specially for competitions, the different Xbox controllers are simply endless. But in parallel to that, it also happens to the American manufacturer to offer highly collector consoles. The machines in question today are further proof of this.
Microsoft is currently offering players a chance to win two collector’s Xbox Series Xs. And not just any Xbox Series X. These are indeed in the colors of SpongeBob SquarePants and Leonardo, the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course, Microsoft did not have these machines produced simply for the love of these characters.
The primary purpose of this contest is therefore to promote Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. For those who haven’t followed it all, the latter is a Smash Bros. clone-like fighting game. And it has the particularity of featuring characters from the Nickelodeon cartoons. As you guessed, among these are SpongeBob SquarePants as well as Leonardo.
Good news for French fans of these characters, it is possible to participate in this competition from France. To do this, just follow the Xbox Twitter account and retweet this tweet before October 24th. Important note, this RT must also include the hashtag #XboxAllStarBrawlsweepstakes.
Very, very, limited collector’s Xbox Series X
Note that only two Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl consoles were produced. An Xbox Series X SpongeBob SquarePants. And an Xbox Series X Leonardo. Obviously, each of these consoles is accompanied by a controller, also customized. The real size photo of these two machines is available in our gallery below.
Whether one is a fan of these two licenses or not, these two Xbox Series X are likely to become collectibles of choice. They are also reminiscent of the Xbox 360 in the colors of Homer Simpson. The latter was linked to a contest organized during the release of The Simpsons: The Movie. Only 100 copies of the console had been produced. And it is now trading at a gold price.
