“The Boys” revolves around the ongoing battle of the eponymous Boys against the seven-man superhero team The Seven, but after Season 3 there is not much left of these seven supes: Only Homelander (Antony Starr) and his two minions The Deep (Chace Crawford) and A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) hold the fort. So it’s time for Supe supplies – and that’s exactly what the people behind “The Boys’ now announced.
Cameron Crovetti became a so-called “series regularpromoted, meaning we’ll see more of Homelander’s almost equally powerful son Ryan in Season 4 – no big surprise after the Season 3 finale, after all Ryan now seems to be following in his crazy father’s footsteps.
In addition, the official “The Boys” Twitter account yet Susan Heyward (“Powers,” “Orange Is The New Black”) as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry (“Veronica Mars,” “The Tick”) as Firecracker on.
Both characters are in the comic template for “The Boys” Not. However, Firecracker’s powers should certainly have something to do with fire or explosives, after all their name means something like “bangers” or “bangers”. And “The Boys”-Showrunner Eric Kripke definitely fueled the anticipation of the debut of the two actresses:
“These new supes are some of the best and craziest ever for ‘The Boys’ were written. you will love her And by love, I mean you’re going to be absolutely horrified and a little sick. Welcome to the family folks!”
While it is obvious that Curry and Heyward’s characters will be part of the Seven, it has not yet been confirmed. But apparently Homelander, who now reigns unchallenged over the Seven and the associated corporation Vought, surrounds himself in “The BoysSeason 4, then, with like-minded Supes just as crazy and despicable as himself and his former lover Stormfront (Aya Cash).
However, it will be a while before we find out exactly how the two fit into the fourth season: Filming for Season 4 will begin in August 2022, which is why we are assuming a start on Amazon Prime Video at the end of 2023. In between, however, the newly titled spin-off “The Boys: Gen V” will be released, probably in the summer of 2023.
