On the occasion of the Game Awards 2021, a short trailer for the next game dedicated to the Amazon warrior from DC Comics, played by Gal Gadot on the big screen, has been unveiled.
A year after the release of Wonder Woman 1984, Patty Jenkins’ second feature film dedicated to the DC Comics superheroine played by Gal Gadot, the Amazon warrior will soon be back in her own video game.
Soberly titled “Wonder Woman” and unveiled at the Game Awards 2021 via a short 40-second teaser, it will be developed by the studio Monolith and edited by Warner Bros. Game, to which we owe in particular the diptyqye Middle-earth – Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth – the shadow of war. While very little information has yet been revealed about this mysterious project (which does not yet have a release date), it’s safe to assume that it will be a third-person game, within of a semi-open world, like the studio’s previous creations.
As for the story, it should take place in the homeland of Wonder Woman, judging by the voiceover we hear echoing in the teaser:
“My daughter, a new threat has reached our shores, and I must call you home.”, explains Hippolyta. “Restore what was broken. Unite our old enemies. Forge new chains. You are a heroine, but you can be even more. You can be a leader. You are Wonder Woman.”
