After “Snowpiercer” and “Animal Kingdom”, the American channel TNT has just announced the development of a sequel series to “Without Identity”, a film with Liam Neeson released in 2011.
The American channel TNT has just announced the development of a sequel series of Without Identity which will be produced by none other than Liam Neeson, the main character of the original feature film.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the film released in 2011 followed Martin Harris, a doctor who suffered a car accident while giving a lecture in Berlin. When he woke up, he learned that another man had taken his identity and was trying to kill him.
With the help of a young woman, camped by Diane Kruger, he did everything he could to prove who he was. According to the American site Deadline, the series should take the events of the film directly and follow a new main character who will be immersed in an adventure full of twists and turns.
Jaume Collet-Serra, who has worked with Liam Neeson in Non Stop, Night Run and The Passenger since 2011, is also involved in the project as director and producer. Karl Gajdusek, screenwriter on Oblivion, and Speed Weed, who worked on the scenarios for Arrow, will be the showrunners of the sequel.
This is not the first time that TNT has embarked on projects for series derived from films. Of his three original series currently on the air, two are from a feature film: Animal Kingdom and Snowpiercer.
As a reminder, Sans Identité is adapted from the French novel Loose my control written by Didier Van Cauwelaert and published in 2003.
