A third Without a sound prepares

Carried in particular by a remarkable performance by Emily Blunt, Without a sound received a very good reception at its output. Hailed by critics, the film also pleased audiences, as it grossed nearly $340 million worldwide. What push its director to launch a sequel. This came out two years later. And it was also a great success. To the extent that two other films on the universe imagined by John Krasinski will see the light of day.
Lupita Nyong’o in the casting
We will soon be entitled to Quietly 3, which is currently scheduled for release in 2025 and will still be directed by John Krasinski. But before that, we can also discover a spin-off. Entitled DayOneit should focus on a family other than the one at the center of the first two feature films, and should take place the first day of the sound sensitive creature invasion. This time, John Krasinski will not direct it. But the screenplay will always be based on one of his original ideas. This is Michael Sarnoski, the filmmaker notably behind Pigwho will take care of the realization.
And Deadline teaches us today that Lupita Nyong’o is in very advanced negotiations to play a role in it. The interpreter of Nakia in the MCU should therefore hold one of the main roles of DayOne. On the other hand, Emily Blunt should not appear there. She should rather resume her role in Quietly 3. Deadline specifies that Paramount does not intend to stop there with this franchise. The studio hopes to continue to capitalize on the popularity of the universe launched by Krasinski, developing other films in the future.
Release planned for 2024
Anyway, the output of DayOne is scheduled for March 6, 2024 in the rooms. In the meantime, fans of Lupita Nyong’o will soon be able to find her in Wakanda Forever. Following Black Panther will be released this Wednesday, November 9 in French cinemas.
