Winnie the Pooh horror version is coming (and it’s downright creepy)

The first images of a horror film featuring a bloodthirsty Winnie the Pooh are causing the buzz. Which did not fail to amuse its director. The name of the movie? “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey”.

Winnie the Pooh makes a killing

But what happened to the nice bear of our childhood? Jean-Christophe’s best friend, honey lover, and loved by all, returns in a horror film, in which he plays… a bloodthirsty killer. In any case, this is what the specialized media discovered Middle Dreadmuch to the amazement of all Winnie the Pooh lovers.

Indeed, the film titled Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (literally Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey) is a horror indie slasher, which takes up the legend of the little bear cub, in a VERY offbeat way. The first images have been unveiled, and they are far from the cartoons of our childhood. Especially since he also trained Piglet with him:

The very existence of this project is surprising, but can be easily explained. Indeed, the character created by Alan Alexander Milne fell into the public domain on January 1, 2022. It can therefore be used freely. On one condition: it’s the original version of the bear, ie without the red t-shirt.

The film Blood and Honey was directed and written by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who was very surprised at the scale that the project had taken, and its presence in many media:

Whatever happens! It’s literally everywhere. I made this movie just for fun, and for horror fans.

You would have understood it, we will definitely never see this Winnie the Pooh horror movie on our screens. But it’s entirely possible that it will be posted online very soon, given the buzz this project is generating.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted (in the meantime, we’ll go rinse our eyes).
