This weekend, Warner is organizing the first installment of its DC Fandome, an online event for its fans who will discover, among other things, many announcements for the studio’s future superhero films.
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the San Diego Comic Con did not take place. Instead, Warner Bros. decided to organize its own event: the DC Fandome. Aimed at fans of the studio’s audiovisual productions, this event promises many announcements about future DC Comics films and superhero series. We already know that Matt Reeves intends to unveil the first images of his Batman with Robert Pattinson. A panel and certainly a new trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 is also planned while James Gunn will present his new project The Suicide Squad. Another panel could not be expected more, that of the famous “Snyder Cut” of Justice League. Confirmed and announced with great fanfare a few weeks ago, this highly anticipated new version of the crossover film should be shown at DC Fandome! The panels will be broadcast from Saturday August 22, 2020 7 p.m. on the DC Fandome official website.
Presentations and announcements are also expected from video game development studios. Warner Bros Games Montreal, for example, has a game announcement to make in the early evening this Saturday while the new game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be presented overnight from Saturday to Sunday. On the television series side, we know that it is a great strength of the DC Extended Universe on our screens, some of them have panels scheduled for this weekend but a second salvo is scheduled between September 12 and 13, 2020 Below, find the major events planned for this weekend’s DC Fandome.
