Lionsgate has confirmed the release date of the movie.

Lionsgate has officially announced that the highly anticipated movie “The Expendables 4” will be released on September 22, 2023. The action-adventure series, which started with the movie The Expendables, directed by Sylvester Stallone in 2010, is getting ready to end with the fourth movie.
Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture return to their roles in the series. Newcomers include Andy Garcia, 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio and Levy Tran.
Directed by former stuntman Scott Waugh (Need For Speed), the film is written by Spenser Cohen (Moonfall) and Max Adams (The Terminal List). According to its official synopsis, the plot of “The Expendables 4” is as follows: The Expendables are the last line of defense in the world, with every weapon at their disposal and the skill to wield them. But new team members with new styles and tactics will give the term “new blood” a whole new meaning.
According to Sylvester Stallone’s previous statements, “The Expendables 4” will be Barney Ross’ last appearance in the series. If the Expendables franchise continues after the fourth movie, his teammate Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) could be the new centerpiece of the series.
