Netflix announced that the new spin-off series “Berlin” focusing on the beloved character of “La Casa De Papel” Berlin (Pedro Alonso) will be released in 2023, with a character introduction video it shared today. The cast of the series was announced recently.
The series, which started shooting in Paris as of today, will tell about the extraordinary robberies carried out by the Berlin character, also known as Andrés de Fonollosa. In Berlin’s new gang, Michelle Jenner as electronics expert Keila, Tristán Ulloa as Damián, Berlin’s confidant and philanthropist professor, We’ll follow Begoña Vargas as the deranged Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández as the gang-dedicated Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce, a ruthless action man.
The script of the series was written by Esther Martínez Lobato and Álex Pina, as well as David Oliva and David Berroca, the creators of “La Casa De Papel”, one of the most popular TV series of recent years. It is not yet clear whether “Berlin”, whose first season will consist of eight episodes, will continue after its first season.
