We finally know what has become of Kevin McCallister, the hero of the films “Mum I missed the plane” whose remake entitled “Mum I missed the plane (it’s starting again)” has been available on Disney + since the 12th. last november.
Everyone remembers the movie Mom I Missed the Plane, a cult comedy from the 90s that follows the adventures of a young boy forgotten by his parents when they go on vacation. Left to himself, he redoubles his imagination to defend his house from a duo of burglars as blundering as they are sinister: the Floaters!
Followed by a second part (Mom I missed the plane again), the film had notably allowed Macaulay Culkin to become the king of child stars in the 90s before gradually withdrawing from the screens to indulge only to rare appearances, for example in the film Zoolander 2 or the American Horror Story series.
The release this year of Mom I missed the plane (it’s starting again), a new opus in the family saga, allowed us to renew with the story of the first film, thanks in particular to the presence of Devin Ratray in the role of Buzz McCallister, the tyrannical big brother of Kevin McCallister (the hero of Mom I missed the plane) became a sympathetic paunchy policeman.
Contacted by the production to appear in the film, Macauley Culkin had finally declined the offer. Nevertheless, the film did not miss the opportunity to give us news of its character Kevin McCallister, through his big brother Buzz.
If Kevin’s genius for setting up traps could have opened the doors to the greatest engineering schools for him, it is ultimately in a much more obvious way that the latter finally made a career: he is indeed at the head of a company specializing … in home alarms! From there to say that the latter found his professional vocation thanks to the Breakers Floats …
Mom I missed the plane (it’s starting again) and the previous opus of the saga can be found now on the Disney + platform!
