‘Battle of Stepping Stones’ Goes Badly for Daemon & Corlys
Daemon and Corlys Velaryon signed an alliance at the end of episode 2 but things didn’t go as they expected, losing to Crab Feeder and Triarchy. The battle had become frustrating for Daemon and those under Corlys’ command, as Corlys’ brother Vaemond nearly incited a mutiny. Their armies had only two weeks to surrender before Daemon broke into Crab Feeder’s camp and was victorious. The time warp means it took three years for Daemon to get news from his brother and help from King’s Landing, so Daemon’s anger also grows during this time period. As such, there may be an even bigger confrontation between the two in House of the Dragon chapter 4.
