Still no image for “Westworld” season 4, but the promise of seeing new worlds in the series. Thus, after the Western, the Shogun and the Second World War, the show proposed by HBO will take us to places still unknown.
Westworld, the fantastic HBO series
Since his first season in 2016 Westworld offers a fascinating universe. The HBO series unfolds in a futuristic amusement park recreating the universe of the Far West. Guests can go there and enjoy the “hosts” as they wish, androids created to make the park as realistic as possible. After two seasons in this park, the series takes us to the real world in season 3. Because Dolores, an android having become aware of her condition, decides to to rebel and gain freedom. For her, but also for other androids like her.
A fight then begins between humans and androids. If we only saw the beginning in the last episodes to date, we expect another twist in season 4 to come. The final episode of the third season having opened the door to a real civil war …
An even richer season 4?
It is therefore an understatement to say that we are impatiently awaiting season 4 of Westworld. But as with its predecessors, this one has a fairly long production time. We shouldn’t see any new episodes land until 2022, and so far no image has filtered. We can nevertheless count on the co-creator of the show, Lisa Joy, to give us some clues on the turn of season 4. So in promotion for the release of his film Reminiscence, the director spoke with Deadline. She notably said that the next episodes will bring us back in parks with new worlds.
You’re going to see new worlds which I think are really fun. And you’ll see someone I kidnapped from Reminiscence in a funny way.
Until now, we had been able to see the world of Western, but also the shogun (a world of Samurai, in season 2) and another reproducing the Second World War (in season 3). The designer promises us several worlds by letting us imagine which ones. From our side, we could see a world reproducing ancient Rome for example. An era that would suit well Westworld. We leave you to your hypotheses on the new places that we could discover in the series.

Finally, we will note in his statement the presence of an interpreter from Reminiscence which should appear in Westworld. Could it be Hugh Jackman or Rebecca Ferguson? It sounds difficult but not impossible. The most plausible would be, in our opinion, Cliff Curtis. Moreover, the film has for its part two faces of the series since Thandiwe Newton, Maeve in the series, holds one of the leading roles, while Angela Sarafyan (Clementine) makes an appearance. While waiting for the release of season 4 of Westworld, you will be able to find the two actresses in theaters on August 25, the release date of Reminiscence.
