Paramount has given the green light for the fifth season of the hit neo-western “Yellowstone.” The SAG and PGA nominated series, which received critical acclaim from MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, will begin production in May 2022, with Jen Landon and Kathryn Kelly rising to regular cast as well the cast.
Created by Taylor Sheridan and directed by Kevin Costner, “Yellowstone” stars Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, Gil Birmingham, Wes Bentley, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen Finn Little, and Ryan Birmingham will return for a fifth season.

“Yellowstone” is part of the “Taylor Sheridanverse,” which includes the Paramount Plus series “Mayor of Kingstown” starring Jeremy Renner and the “Yellowstone” prequel and origin story “1883.” “Mayor of Kingstown” has been confirmed for a second season. Oscar-nominated screenwriter Sheridan co-created “Yellowstone” with John Linson. Other well-known works by Sheridan include Includes “Wind River”, “Hell or High Water” and “Sicario”.
