We don’t just experience good times on a film set and François Cluzet can attest to that. The actor was supposed to go skydiving for “We’ll End Together” and it wasn’t a cakewalk at all.
We’ll end up together: Guillaume Canet sets the stage
The film contains a sequence during which Max must parachute. We notice that François Cluzet got involved in it and that he was not replaced for a double. This situation is far from trivial and the actor had not even tried this experiment in the past. It is not Tom Cruise who wants and he did not fail to express his reluctance at the idea of throwing himself into the void.

However, he still agreed, specifying that he would only jump twice. Guillaume Canet was with him on the plane to shoot this scene. A moment which he remembers with amusement since he saw how his actions hadn’t had a good time. During a meeting with the public organized by our colleagues from Allocinated, the director explains that François Cluzet told him that he hated the experience. But, as a great professional, he waited for the second and last jump to say so, to the point of feigning joy after the first. Fortunately, he did not need to do it a third time and we are not close to seeing him again in such a situation in the cinema.
