Big guns, katana blows and blood spatter are routine in Wanted : Dead, an action game that mixes hand-to-hand combat with a more traditional third-person shooter. The title is riding the wave of the end of the year celebrations to blow up everything in a new trailer as explosive as it is offbeat.
Wanted: Dead pulls out the guns and plays it Ninja Gaiden
From developers who cut their teeth on Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden series, Wanted : Dead is expected for February 14, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. We will embody Hannah Stone, a police lieutenant with particularly expeditious methods who generally prefers to shoot and butcher than to discuss and question calmly. The latter, accompanied by her whole unit of broken arms as crazy as her, will investigate a large-scale conspiracy, in which the Hong Kong underworld participates and more. Mafia, combos, explosions, big mechas and even a cat are on the program.
Juggling between TPS shooting phases, and a cover system and several different weapons, and katana combat, the game is intended to be nervous and bloody, although much less than a Ninja Gaiden. He also reveals to us today a whole new facet of his gameplay with completely WTF sequences where rhythmic mini-games are embedded, whether you are in front of a bowl of noodles or in the middle of a dancing karaoke session. Wanted : Dead should therefore bet on the second degree and offer completely offbeat situations. Verdict in a few weeks.
