The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners will be back on PSVR 2. A great news already in itself… except if you have to go back to the checkout as too often. But we now have all the information about it.
The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners PSVR 2 Update
Cutting zombies in virtual reality has its small effect and in this area, The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners is doing quite well. Since its release in 2020, it seems to be unanimous both on the ratings aggregator Metacritic – 80/100 for the press, 8.2/10 for players -, and on Steam with a high rate (88%) of positive evaluations on more than 6000 returns.
An immersive and enjoyable game where we camp a survivor who will have to save his skin and clean up the streets of New Orleans. After an epidemic, this high place was indeed infested with zombies. It is up to the player to craft effective equipment to go hunting for prowlers.
The developers of Skydance Interactive announce that The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners will not only be one of many PlayStation VR 2 games, but will be ported via a free update. As for Gran Turismo 7Hello Neighbor VR: Search and Rescue, Resident Evil Village or even No Man’s Sky.
What about PS Plus subscribers?
In 2021, the developers offered The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners to PS Plus subscribers. But when a game is added in the service, sometimes there may be some incompatibilities. We still remember the imbroglio with Final Fantasy 7 Remake. None of that here, the game will be free for EVERYONE, including users who have the title through PlayStation Plus.
Double good news. Although slightly delayed, the sequel The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners: Chapter 2 – Retribution will be released on March 20, 2023 on PSVR 2 and PCVR, and in 2023 on PlayStation VR.
