Tomer Sisley will be the hero of Vortex, a new science fiction series for France 2 on time travel, which has just started filming.



We no longer stop Tomer Sisley who goes on filming. After completing that of season 4 of Balthazar, here it is since today on the set of Vortex, a sci-fi mini-series for France 2.
Co-written by Camille Couasse and Sarah Farkas based on a concept by best-selling author Frank Thilliez, Vortex takes place in the near future, in 2025. Tomer Sisley plays Ludovic, a judicial police captain in Brest.
In 1998, he lost Mélanie the love of his life and the mother of his daughter Juliette. But thanks to a temporal rift that opens inside a crime scene reconstructed in virtual reality, he can communicate with it by navigating between past and present. He warns her of his imminent death in order to change the past, at the risk of losing the life he has rebuilt with his new wife Parvana and his son.
Composed of six 52-minute episodes, this mini-series is filmed between Brittany and Ile-de-France until December 7. Facing Tomer Sisley, we will find Camille Claris (The Last Life of Simon) and Zineb Triki, the unforgettable Nadia El Mansour from the Legends Office.
Vortex is directed by Slimane-Baptiste Berhoun, known to the public in his actor’s hat with the character of Dr. Henry Castafolte in The Visitor of the Future. He posted on his Instagram account a photo of himself and Tomer Sisley, in which the actor sports a very different look than what we usually know him:
