Warner TV has unveiled the first teaser for “Visitors”, Simon Astier’s new series after “Hero Corps”. This time, it will be a priori a question of a meeting of the third type…
Alexandre Astier returns with UFOs
While Alexandre Astier revisited the Arthurian legend with Kaamelotthis half-brother, Simon Astier for his part, attacked superheroes with Hero Corp. The series was broadcast on France 4 between 2008 and 2017 and spans five seasons. As Kaamelott, Hero Corp has created a solid fan base. And it is thanks to the support of the public that Simon Astier was able to go to the end of his story.
Five years later, Simon Astier will finally offer his new creation to Visitors. This time, Warner TV will be responsible for broadcasting the program. For once, the author has looked at a concept that will easily speak to the greatest number: the UFOs. The series will follow Richard, a police officer who, from his first day in law enforcement, goes to see two strange lights crash into the sky. To get an idea of the atmosphere, Warner TV has just published a first teaser (in one article).
For Visitors, Simon Astier again passed in front of and behind the camera. At his side, we can already see appearing in the video Grégoire Ludig and David Marsais from the Palmashow, but also Florence Loiret Caille (The Office of Legends) or even Vincent Desagnat. Also announced are Damien Jouillerot (Mr. Batignole), Tiphaine Daviot (A nice story), Julie Bargeton (Cloakrooms), Arnaud Tsamere, Delphine Baril (The manor), Adrien Menielle (The Crazy Story of Max and Leon), and many others.
The ever-present aliens
Visitors are not the only French series to be interested in extraterrestrials. We think of UFO(s), the Canal+ comedy whose season 2 has just been broadcast. But let’s not forget War of the Worlds, a French, American, and British co-production also offered by Canal+. Two very different programs in their tone and their ambitions. To see if Visitors will manage to convince as much.
The series will air soon on Warner TV.
