At the end of 2022, a funny version of Santa Claus will tumble onto our screens. David Harbor (Hopper in Stranger Things) plays it John Wick in the first trailer for this fantasy-tinged action film that promises to be crazy.
Violent Night : do not annoy Santa Claus
Santa Claus is better known for handing out gifts than horns. However, we have sometimes seen him in the cinema doing overstepping. Take, for example, Fatman with Mel Gibson, the awesome Santa Claus Origins or bad santa. To this list must now be added Violent Night.
The feature film features David Harbor as Santa Claus. The actor revealed himself thanks to the series Stranger Things and he is now one of the members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since he filmed in Black Widow.
On the evening of December 24, a group of bandits led by Mr. Scrooge attacks a wealthy family. The blow should have been rather quiet but the bad guys have the misfortune to fall on the most famous of the bearded men. The latter intends to make them regret their choice and will not hesitate to be violent.
A rather simplistic basic premise which will be above all a pretext to offer us an uninhibited action film. We expect no less Violent Nightespecially since the producers of nobody and Bullet Train are in on it. The first trailer that has just arrived is responsible for reassuring us. David Harbor’s Father Christmas has nothing to envy to John Wick and he has the advantage of being endowed with powers.
This joyous spectacle is packed by Tommy Wirkola, to whom we owe the already unbridled Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters as well as the equally crazy Dead Snow (a film with Nazi zombies in the snow). In the cast of Violent Night, we find John Leguizamo, Beverly D’Angelo, Alex Hassell, Alexis Louder, Edi Patterson, Cam Gigandet and André Eriksen. Logically, the feature film arrives for the end of the year on the screens. Universal has decided to fix the release on November 30 in France.
