An adaptation that we imagined doomed to never see the light of day, Uncharted arrives in our theaters next February. The time of trailers should not delay, if we can trust a first video that appeared on the Web a few hours ago.
You were burning to see Uncharted in action ? In any case, a little more than the rare snapshots and stealth shots in a Sony promotional video? With filming completed for almost a year, it is about time, indeed. Your wish is granted with the video above, which appeared on the internet overnight. This is probably the first official trailer, we could also say teaser, given its brevity, which should be unveiled this week.

Fans will likely be delighted to see a direct reference to Uncharted 3: The Drake Illusion. More exactly to the sequence of the cargo plane of chapter 17, entitled “Stowaway”. We can indeed discover here Nathan Drake, embodied by Tom holland, attempting to climb in spectacular fashion a trail of cargo ejected from the access door. A little “crap” here. A close-up on Mark Wahlberg battling Tati Gabrielle over there. A Scottish mirror cabinet (Charlie Cutter with hair, maybe?) That will require several viewings before translation, for the comedic effect. All the ingredients to arouse at least a little curiosity?
We will still wait to see a little more. To start, perhaps, with a higher quality version, just to make sure that the special effects and keyings are not missed. Remember thatUncharted is intended as a prequel to the video game adventure signed Naughty Dog. We will discover a young Nathan Drake alongside a Victor Sullivan not yet sporting his pretty Magnum mustache. They will be confronted in particular with Antonio Banderas, a PlayStation icon in spite of himself for several years.
Uncharted, feature film directed by Ruben Fleischer (Welcome to Zombieland, Venom) arrives on February 16 in French cinemas.
