SERGE IS ON A TRACK
Without news since the day before, Lætitia contacts Serge. After apologizing, the lawyer claims to have finished work late and had no time to tell her. When she offers to spend the evening together, Serge replies that he does not yet know if he will be able to free himself because of a complicated affair.
Subsequently, he meets his private detective and informs him that his employer is putting a lot of pressure on him because his clients in Luxembourg are desperate to recover the stolen documents. As one of Master Levars’ neighbors has a very well aimed camera, the detective, who knows someone he can trust in the surveillance company, hopes to gain access to the day’s footage of the heist. With any luck, they will be able to identify the culprits.
MYRIAM CONSIDERS RENOUNCING VIOLETTE’S LEGACY
It’s the day of Violette’s funeral. Collapsed, Myriam cries in Claire’s arms. At the end of the ceremony, Myriam suggests that Celine bury the hatchet while she spreads Violet’s ashes on her land. Unfortunately, Céline refuses and specifies that from now on she will have to go through her lawyer if she has something to tell him.
In order to stop this infernal spiral, Myriam plans to give up the inheritance. For Claire, giving up would prove Celine right and would amount to admitting that they got out of hand. And even if she risks being indicted for misconduct, the nurse is ready to assume the consequences of her actions.
ELIOTT MAKES A PROPOSAL TO ALICIA
Eliott contacts his boss to warn him that he will not be able to come to work because he has been sick all night. In fact, the young man is doing very well and is tracking Alicia while she works to deposit flyers in mailboxes.
At the same time, Lucas tells Camille and Kira that Gaspard paid him a jet-ski trip. As the teenage girls wonder how he can have so much money, Lucas retorts that he has promised not to say anything. A discussion that did not go unnoticed by Eve’s ears.
Worried about Gaspard, she calls Eliott and tells him that her brother is spending a lot. As his situation is precarious, the French teacher questions Eliott to find out if he gives him money to manipulate him and embark on his bad plans. Annoyed, his son assures us that he will never harm his little brother.
Eliott later approaches Alicia. If the latter insists that he leave her alone, Eliott, who wants to right the wrongs he has caused to the Boisseron family, suggests that she help him analyze accounting documents. Even if it would allow him to clean his criminal record, Alicia does not intend to lift a finger for him.
Eliott then finds Gaspard and tries to find out where the money he spends comes from. When the teenager tries to make him believe he is from Alicia, Eliott indicates that it is impossible since she is handing out flyers. Gaspard, who has more than one trick up his sleeve, says that his mother has put money aside and that she is doing this little job so as not to attract the attention of the police.
Back home, Gaspard sees his mother tired and tells her that she doesn’t have to accept any job. And to add that he has some savings thanks to the sale of collector’s business. Although touched, Alicia declines.
