ARIANE LANDS AT HER DAUGHTER
Joël gets into his car without knowing that Alix is hiding inside. The latter then accuses him of having stuck a knife in her back by throwing her at the police. Uncomfortable, the young man affirms that he never wanted to cause him trouble but that the authorities put so much pressure on him that he ended up breaking down. While he asks what he can do to make up for it, Alix asks him to disappear from his life.
Meanwhile, Noémie tries to take a picture of Ludo to send it to his mother. Panicked, he refuses, claiming to have no desire for his face to appear on social networks.
For her part, Alix goes to the police station to hear about the investigation into the raven. After she informed her to do her best to find the author of the letters, Élise asked her to leave the premises. To gain access to the investigation file, Alix therefore decides to file a complaint against Joël for slanderous denunciation. Subsequently, she receives a call from Ariadne who wants to get Ludo’s last name but she dodges before promising to call her back later.
Later, Ludo and Noémie are preparing dinner when Ariane arrives unexpectedly. Although embarrassed, the former lovers claim not to know each other. For her part, Noémie invites her mother to stay. During dinner, the atmosphere is particularly tense. While Ariane says that she is sure to have already crossed paths with him near a hotel, Noémie confirms that he is collecting funds for an association. When her daughter goes to get dessert, Ariane takes the opportunity to settle accounts with Ludo. Once she has expressed her disgust to him, she collects her things and then leaves in front of her daughter.
ÉLISABETH DISCOVER IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON BERTHIER’S LIFE
Guilhem contacts Florent about the complaint filed by Laurent Berthier. As Elisabeth was summoned to the police station, Guilhem is surprised at the lack of courtesy of his colleague. However, Florent reminds him that when a man’s life is in danger, there is no room for this kind of politeness. Despite everything, Guilhem would like to find common ground to avoid a long procedure. The lawyer may specify that his client is now ready to pay him a year and a half of salary, Florent insists on Berthier’s desire to return to his post. Since Elisabeth does not intend to reverse her decision, Maître Graçay will therefore let the complaint take its course.
At the same time, Laurent gives an interview to Lucille. With tears in his eyes, he tells her about the constant pressure he was under at work from Elisabeth and how he came to want to end his life.

According to him, the accountant knew full well that his mistake could have cost the company dearly. Having always been very close to L. Cosmetics, Berthier felt terribly guilty to the point of attempting to commit suicide. Alex then indicates that it is still too early to draw conclusions and then specifies that the purpose of this investigation is to clarify things.
On leaving the post, Guilhem reports to Élisabeth that her private detective discovered that Berthier’s wife had a lover. If he found out, that might explain his gesture. When Guilhem suggests leaking information in the press, Elisabeth does not prefer. Berthier being already at the bottom of the hole, she does not intend to push it further.
Not far from there, Lucille receives an anonymous call and then tells her editor that she has doubts about the real reasons for Berthier’s action. Indeed, the reporter heard that the accountant’s wife was having an affair a few months ago. If she wishes to portray the situation as accurately as possible, Lucille does not see herself unpacking her private life in this context. The line between personal and professional life being thin, the editor-in-chief advises him not to speak of adultery but just of personal problems.
