Eliott confides in Charles
At the hospital, Eliott regains consciousness after having nearly succumbed to an overdose of drugs. At his bedside, Charles encourages him to speak to him because if he had not arrived in time, he would have died. Alas, Eliott replies that he would have done better to let him die.
He then confides in him living a hell for two years: he has become the puppet of the prosecutor Berthier, who uses him for infiltration missions by blackmailing him. If he does not comply, he will return to prison. However, his tasks consisted of denouncing people, and his first victim was Sam’s mother, the woman he loved. Since then, the latter has left her, her half-brother and her mother-in-law have fled without leaving a trace, and her bar project is taking water.
Faced with the despair of his friend, Charles encourages him to take charge of himself: ready to help him get out of this impasse, he reminds him that he has always gotten out of trouble with flying colors in the past, and that ‘he must not give up now.
Leo uses Anissa
After spending the night with Leo, unaware that he is the dealer’s henchman who uses his mother as a nanny, Anissa leaves him her phone number and offers to call her back the next time he does. will want to have a good time with her.
Delighted, Leo then calls Bruce, Marvin’s second in command, and reveals to him that he has become closer to Yasmine’s daughter to better control her and monitor her whereabouts. Bruce congratulates him, but advises him to be careful and not to be distracted.
The man then makes an appointment with Yasmine, and gives her a second package. Distraught, Yasmine emphasizes to him that this was not part of their arrangement, and that he still has not come to recover the first package that she hid in one of her patients. Bruce asks her not to worry, and asks her to be patient.
Back at the hospital, the nurse struggles to hide her nervousness from her colleagues. While Claire is about to finish her shift and join Florent to spend New Years Eve alone, Janet tells her that one of her colleagues is contagious and will not be able to take care of her this evening. Hélène then offers to replace her by exchanging custody for the next day with her. Claire thanks her and promises to return the favor.
Manu resumes investigation of Marvin
Thinking that Camille has broken up with Steve, Manu announces to Alex that he intends to work again on the investigation concerning his brother Marvin. Alex then tells him that the situation has not improved since Elise has discovered new hideouts from the dealer, who has expanded his network.
For her part, Camille joins Kira. Noticing that her friend is still wearing Steve’s sweatshirt, Kira urges her to turn the page and asserts that the harp was hypocritical in using her, and that she should burn all her things.
Camille then asks her if she can keep a secret, and confesses to her that she and Steve have decided to see each other in secret so that her brother does not have problems. Kira promises not to say anything. If Camille finds the situation rather exciting, Steve, very happy to find her, warns her because her brother could decide to have her watched if he has the slightest doubt that Manu continues to hunt him down …
