Ubisoft: no The Settlers is not dead, here are some news

Despite the successive delays, The Settlers is alive and well and even reveals some new information. This is what we know.

The Settlers started from scratch in its development some time ago and now even bears the name of New Allies. With a slightly different gameplay, much more access to the strategy/RTS side than the previous version. Which we were able to see at Gamescom a long time ago in 2019 during our overview of Ubisoft releases.

The Settlers talks PC setups

History of preparing for its release, Ubisoft lifts the veil on the PC configurations of The Settlers. Thus, the new colonists do not need a PC whose power is unknown to function correctly. They will be completely satisfied with finally few things to know:

Minimum configuration of The Settlers:

  • Operating system : Windows 10 64 bit
  • Processor : Intel Core i3-6100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • Memory : 8 GB RAM
  • Graphic card : GeForce GTX 950 or Radeon 550

Recommended setting:

  • Operating system : Windows 10 64 bit
  • Processor : Intel Core i7-6700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory : 8 GB RAM
  • Graphic card : GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 470

In The Settlers: New Allies, we will have the opportunity to test three game modes: a single-player campaign, skirmishes for up to eight players and a hardcore cooperative format. By taking control of one of three factions. The release is scheduled for February 17 on PC. At least for the moment and if Ubisoft does not decide to postpone it for the umpteenth time.
