Ahmed Sylla and Bertrand Usclat are twins… but not too many! in the comedy by Olivier Ducray and Wilfried Meance. The film is presented today in Competition at the Alpe d’Huez Festival. Check out the teaser.
6 years after L’Ascension, which he co-wrote with director Ludovic Bernard, Olivier Ducray reunited with Ahmed Sylla for the comedy Jumeaux mais pas trop, which he co-directed with Wilfried Méance.
Ahmed Sylla shares the poster for this feature film with Bertrand Usclat, known for his humorous “Broute” videos. The two actors play twins who discover the existence of each other at the age of 33. But the surprise is all the greater as one is white, the other black! But their skin color is far from the only thing that differentiates them. By getting to know each other, neither of them feels like they have hit the jackpot…
The pitch is reminiscent of the 1988 film, Ivan Reitman’s Twins starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as the brothers.
Comedians Ahmed Sylla and Bertrand Usclat share the bill with Pauline Clément, Gérard Jugnot and Nicolas Marié. Medi Sadoun is also in the cast as we can see in the first teaser unveiled today.
Twins but not too much is presented this Thursday in competition at the Alpe d’Huez Festival, and will soon be released in our theaters.
