“Universal Science Fiction and Fantastic Film Festival”, where imagination and science are brought to the fore, will meet with moviegoers on September 28-29-30.

Filiz Dağ and Gülşah Elikbank, who are in the management of the “Universal Science Fiction and Fantastic Film Festival” planned to be held for the first time this year, made a statement about the festival; He stated that the idea of organizing such a festival stemmed from the impasse in the world. It was underlined that the stalemate revealed the importance of imagination and science, and that these two powers would find meaning when combined with art.
Emphasizing that science fiction and fantasy genres are increasing in world cinema, the festival management stated that they want to bring the “Universal Science Fiction and Fantasy Film Festival” together with moviegoers in order to contribute to the development of these genres in Turkey, and to benefit from the great potential and have a say in the field. Filiz Dağ and Gülşah Elikbank stated that they set out with a competent team for a film festival with a universal vision, and said that they wanted to be closer to the world of young people, draw strength from them, and cross the borders and reflect their new perspectives on the silver screen.
Making a statement on behalf of the International Association of Science and Art Creators, which undertakes the organization of the festival, the president of the association, Filiz Dağ; While saying that they come together with value creators from many different fields such as genetics, aircraft, electronics, software, astrophysics, psychology, literature, theater, cinema, digital art, industry, entrepreneurship, music and finance, all of these creators “dream” and “produce”. He emphasized that they met on the common denominator.
Chairman Dağ said in a statement; He stated that the “Universal Science Fiction and Fantastic Film Festival”, the first event of the association, was the first spark for the realization of content in this field in Turkey. He also stated that they want to go beyond the comedy genre and carry their claims in digital art and game design to the contents of movies, and that they are preparing to make a difference in the world in this field as well as in the TV series industry with their pioneering talents.
Explaining the reason why the festival is called universal, Dag explains that they dream of not staying on the basis of countries and international, but inter-universe; He stated that with the US3F Academy, which they aim simultaneously, they will implement a school where they will train enthusiasts of the skills needed in the content of this field, and they will soon share the partnerships they will make with world-renowned designers, producers, studios and organizations.
