Between trailers, snippets and release dates, Netflix has gone all out for TUDUM, its first global event dedicated to fans. That’s all you shouldn’t miss.
Netflix delighted fans around the world with its TUDUM event, which took place on September 25. With more than 100 talents present and around thirty announcements, it is not easy to follow or catch up with everything that has been said during the various panels.
Small recap of what not to miss:
Stranger Things
After several months (years?) Of waiting, Netflix has unveiled the first images of season 4 of Stranger Things. Change of atmosphere with this trailer which makes us discover the Creel house. Who is this family? How does it relate to Hawkins and the Upside Down? We can count on our heroes to find out the truth. But not until 2022.
La Casa de Papel
On December 3, subscribers will bid farewell to the robbers of La Casa de Papel. Netflix took advantage of Tudum to upload a first extract from season 5 part 2. Nothing is going well for the Professor’s team, especially since according to Raquel / Lisbon, the latter no longer gives any sign of life. The tension is rising and it could be explosive …
Red Notice
After a full muscle trailer released three weeks ago, Netflix has this time presented to fans a 3-minute extract of Red Notice, in which Gal Gadot gives a hell of a beating to Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson. What to set the tone before the release of the film on November 12th.
The Bridgertons Chronicle
No trailer for Season 2 of The Chronicle of the Bridgertons which is long overdue, but an exclusive first preview. These new episodes will center on Anthony, the eldest of the family, as he seeks marriage. And the young man will fall under the spell of the only woman who does not want him. Presentation in this video.
The Crown
Netflix is wasting no time! During the TUDUM event, the American giant announced the launch date from season 5 of The Crown, currently filming across the Channel. It is the Queen herself – or rather her new interpreter Imelda Staunton – who reveals the info: she gives us an appointment in November 2022 … Another year of waiting!
Cobra Kai
The series that follows Karate Kid has quickly become an essential program of the platform. While season 5 has already been ordered, Cobra Kai season 4 expected on December 31 is unveiled in a first trailer to watch here.
The witcher
Netflix delighted The Witcher fans during the panel by unveiling a new monstrous trailer as well as two exclusive extracts from season 2 of The Witcher. But that’s not all since the series has been renewed for a season 3. In parallel the showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich revealed that they were working on a new anime as well as a series for children.
Vikings Valhalla
In November 2019 Netflix announced the start of a Vikings spin-off, supposed to take place 100 years after the mother series. Two years later, Netflix subscribers were able to discover the first images. The opportunity to meet the new heroes in action …
Arcane (League of Legends)
Fans of the LOL video game have been eagerly awaiting the first real trailer for Arcane. Netflix unveiled it during its TUDUM event. An impressive appetizer of 2 minutes 30, centered on the characters of Vi and Jinx. To discover from November 7.
Cowboy Bebop
No trailer for the live-action adaptation of Shinichiro Watanabe’s manga Cowboy Bebop but a first generic which sets the tone. Enough to reassure fans who weren’t convinced by the first photos?
Tyler rake 2
Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) is alive and well! Netflix proves it in this video where the hero, shot, emerges from the river almost unscathed. It will take more to kill him in the film’s sequel due in 2022.
Sandman
Two years after the announcement of the project, Neil Gaiman and Netflix introduced the world to the first images of Sandman, an ambitious adaptation of the eponymous comic.
