Fiona Shaw and Christopher Eccleston are among the names included in the new season

When long winter nights arrive in Ennis/Alaska in season 4 of True Detective, the six men who run the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Chief) are assigned to solve the case. The two women will have to face the darkness that lies within them and they will dig into the uncanny truths beneath the endless ice.
John Hawkes plays Hank Prior, a police officer who hides his grudges from the past under his quiet cloak, Christopher Eccleston will play Ted Corsaro, a district police chief whose background is tied to Liz Danvers. Fiona Shaw will appear as Rose Aguineau, whose past is full of secrets. Finn Bennett stars as Liz Danvers’ guardian, Peter Prior. Finally, the character of Anna Lambe was revealed as Kayla Malee, a young nurse who has no tolerance for those who mess with her family.
Issa López serves as writer, director, executive producer and showrunner on the series, which is currently in pre-production. Alan Page Arriaga will also serve as screenwriter and executive producer for the new season, while Jodie F.oster is also among the producers.
