The cute cartoon character Winnie the Pooh is in a horror movie this time…
The copyright of the children’s book, in which Winnie the Pooh, the cute bear we all know from Disney cartoons, first appeared, has expired in recent months. With the book written by AA Milne and illustrated by EH Shephard now in the public domain, free interpretation of Winnie and Tiger, Piglet, Eeyore has been opened up.
The first comment of Winnie the bear, other than the cartoons we are used to, surprised everyone. Winne the Pooh is the subject of a slasher horror movie for the first time. Written and directed by Rhys Waterfield, “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” takes this character, known for his cuteness and innocence, from a completely unconventional perspective and puts Winnie at the center of a dark story.
Winnie and Piglet, played by Craig David Dowsett and Chris Cordell, are enraged when Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon) dumps them while they go to college. Going wild without the influence of their human friends, the duo start hunting by keeping a close eye on people’s homes.
“Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” is described as a movie that blends absurdist black humor and real horror elements. The movie is scheduled to meet the audience this year.
