Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe sat on the director’s chair for the first time for the 2014 film “The Water Diviner”, which takes place on the Çanakkale Front of the First World War. Crowe co-wrote the screenplay for his second feature film, “Poker Face,” with Stephen M. Coates.
The film tells the story of Jake (Crowe), a tech billionaire, who turns the annual high-stakes poker game into chaos with an elaborate plan to get revenge on his friends who betrayed him years ago. However, as a result of unexpected events, Jake is forced to rethink his strategy and begins to make a new plan. “Poker Face” will have its world premiere at the Rome Film Festival on October 16. In our country, it will be released on November 25.
