What would you do if your first love appeared 20 years later, not a day old?
The first trailer for the romantic science fiction movie “The Time Capsule” directed by Erwan Marshall, who directed a feature film for the first time, has been released. The film stars Todd Grinnel, who has appeared in productions such as “One Day At a Time” and “Desperate Housewives”, and Brianna Hildebrand, who is known for her Negasonic Teenage Warhead character in “Deadpool”.
Written by Erwan Marshall and Chad Fifer, “The Time Capsule” tells the story of Jack (Todd Grinnel), an exasperated politician who has just lost his election, and meets his first love after many years. Although everything seems normal so far, it’s actually not, because Jack’s first love, Elise (Brianna Hildebrand), returns from 200 years of space travel, not a day old!
Fueled by a scarred ego from his failed political campaign and tired of trying to save his marriage from his overly controlling wife, Maggie (KaDee Strickland), Jack seeks refuge in his family’s summer lake house. When his ex-girlfriend arrives looking exactly the same as the day he went into space, the place where he spent most of his teenage years suddenly becomes a stronger reminder of the past. But will Jack get a second chance with his first love, or will he use the lessons he learned to improve his current marriage?
“The Time Capsule” will meet the audience online on June 3rd.
