“Unplugging,” tells the adventures of a couple who decide to leave the city and do a digital detox to strengthen their bond.
Vertical Entertainment has released an official trailer for “Unplugging,” the hilarious romantic comedy movie originally from editor Debra Neil-Fisher’s directorial debut.
The film stars Eva Longoria and Matt Walsh. “Unplugging” was also written by Matt Walsh and Brad Morris. The film is about a couple whose bond is weakened by the reasons of modern life and technology.
Jeanine (Eva Longoria) and Dan (Matt Walsh) Dewerson decide to spend a weekend in the countryside to do their recommended digital detox to rekindle their marriage. Things get complicated when the couple’s vacation, which started out as a perfect weekend getaway without the blessings of technology and modern life, quickly spirals out of control. This quirky weekend getaway soon forces Jeanine and Dan to discover that the only way they can get home is to trust each other.
The small cast of the movie, which was shot in Oklahoma during the pandemic last year, also includes Nicole Byer, Al Madrigal, Lea Thompson, Brad Morris, and Keith David. The movie is scheduled to meet the audience in April.
