The first trailer for Netflix’s romantic drama movie “Along For The Ride” (“My Road Friend”) has been shared, which will be released on April 22.
Sofia Alvarez wrote the screenplay of the movie, which is adapted from the best-selling novel by Sarah Dessen, who is known for her romantic stories set in coastal areas, which was published in our country as “My Road Friend”. Sofia Alvarez, who also directed the movie, previously directed the Netflix romantic comedies “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “To All the Boys: PS I Still Love You”.
“Along For The Ride” stars Emma Pasarow and Belmont Cameli. The movie also stars Dermot Mulroney, Andie MacDowell, Kate Bosworth, and Genevieve Hannelius.
The plot of the movie is briefly this: Auden (Emma Pasarow), who is living an anxious life due to her parents’ divorce and suffering from severe insomnia, spends some time with her father (Dermot Mulroney) the summer before she goes to college and enjoys some of those teenage quirks that she perhaps overlooked. Auden meets Eli (Belmont Cameli), a fellow insomniac who accompanies him on his nightly expeditions in Colby. The connection formed between the two teenagers forces them to confront what is holding them in the shade.
