New video from the highly anticipated series is on the air
Amazon has given a new 15-second sneak peek at its upcoming massive series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. On Wednesday, the company released a special teaser for the “LOTR” series, which will be released worldwide on September 2 on Prime Video. “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will take place thousands of years before the events of JRR Tolkien’s books “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” during the Second Age of Middle-earth history.
In the new 60-second glance, an ominous sign appearing in the night sky raises questions from the inhabitants of Middle-earth. The first teaser trailer for “Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” was released in February. Amazon will continue to prepare for the launch of the show with another teaser trailer scheduled for release on July 14.
Among the prominent characters Ismael Cruz CordovaArondir, the skilled archer played by Morfidd ClarkStarring Galadriel and more. Starting in a time of relative peace, the series follows a cast of characters both familiar and new as they face the reappearance of long-feared evil in Middle-earth.
