The first trailer for “Confess, Fletch” has been released, based on George McDonald’s novels about the irreverent investigative journalist character Irwin ‘Fletch’ Fletcher. Fletch, played by Chevy Chase in the 1980s, is played by “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm in the new film adaptation.
The film tells the story of Fletch, the prime suspect of multiple murders by mistake, while searching for his fiancé’s stolen art collection, while trying to prove his innocence. The cast also includes names such as Marcia Gay Harden, John Slattery, Kyle MacLachlan, Lorenza Izzo, Ayden Mayeri, Anna Osceola is located.
“Confess, Fletch” was directed by Greg Mottola (Adventureland, Superbad). Mottola and Hamm also collaborated on the 2016 movie “Keeping Up with the Joneses.” Greg Mottoloa penned the screenplay with Zev Borow.
The trailer reveals that Fletch is quite happy with his life in Europe, but is also not afraid of a challenge. Assigned to investigate the disappearance of a millionaire’s painting collection, Fletch is shocked when he becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, but sets out to prove his innocence right away…
