On the official Twitter account the anime adaptation of »My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex« (jap.: »Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano«) became a trailer today for the finale of the series, which will be broadcast next week, released. You can watch the video below.
Series originated at Project No.9
»My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex« is directed by Shinsuke Yanagi (»The Ryuo’s Work is Never Done!«) and produced at Studio Project No.9. Hitomi Mieno (»The Dungeon of Black Company«) wrote the script, while Katsuyuki Satou contributed the character designs.
The 12-part romance comedy series stars Rina Hidaka (Filo on The Rising of the Shield Hero) as Yume Irido and Hiro Shimono (Keima Katsuragi on The World God Only Knows) as Mizuto Irido. Crunchyroll shows the series in this country in a simulcast.
The anime adapts the light novel of the same name by Kyousuke Kamishiro, which has been commercially released in Japan since December 2018 with artwork by TakayaKi. A manga adaptation by Rei Kusakabe has been published in »Dra-Dra Sharp#« magazine since May 2019.
