WILLIAM MEETS CYRIL
William wakes up with a start after having a funny dream. In it, the doctor sees himself with another little boy who looks like two drops of water playing a game of seven families identical to that of the White Lady. Knowing the reason why he has all these nightmares, Aurore then reveals to her husband that he has a twin brother who was in the car with him during the accident in the summer of 1983. Very moved, William blames himself. to have been able to forget that he had a brother. And it is in shock that he quickly understands that his twin has been hiding under the mask of the White Lady for all these weeks.
Without waiting, he goes to his parents and asks them to tell him the truth. With his back to the wall, Régis confirms that he has a twin brother named Cyril before Brigitte recounts the worst memory of his life with emotion. Severely burned, Cyril was hospitalized in a specialized center. While they visited him every day, William claimed him for months until one day he quit because he had ended up forgetting about him. Régis and Brigitte then thought it was better this way. As Cyril was completely disfigured, they were afraid it would cause insurmountable trauma for William.
Gradually, Cyril became violent to the point of hitting the medical staff. Having become too dangerous not only for himself but also for others, Régis and Brigitte had no choice but to place him in a children’s psychiatric hospital after a year and a half. Insofar as he hated them deeply, they had to space out their visits because Cyril’s crises redoubled with each of their visits. One day, Cyril told them he didn’t want to see them anymore.
At the same time, Karim discovered that Cyril Daunier was interned in a psychiatric hospital for twelve years. Deemed stable when he came of age, he left the institute and has never left any administrative traces since.
William then confides in his sister. As he talks to her, he recalls the dream he had last night. Recognizing the place where he played with his brother when he was little, he spins there and meets Cyril. Always together, Cyril says that William was his best friend for the first four years of his life. Then the accident happened and Cyril suffered greatly from loneliness. If he is convinced that their parents got rid of him because he had become a monster, he also blames his brother for forgetting him.
When Cyril realized that the whole family lived as if he had never existed, it drove him crazy. A step back is no longer possible, he fully intends to go to the end of his revenge and make Regis and Brigitte assume what they have made of him. When William turns his back on him, he takes the opportunity to knock him out with a piece of wood lying around.
SYLVAIN RECEIVES A VISIT FROM ONE OF HIS FORMER WORKERS
Sylvain receives a visit from Anthony, one of his former workers. The construction company in which he worked having been closed, the young man returned to Sète in the hope of finding a job in the area. A godsend for Sylvain, who has been renovating a house for three weeks and who needs labor. As Anthony currently lives at the campsite, Sylvain invites him instead to move in with him as long as he wants without paying rent.
Later, Charlie meets Anthony and falls under his spell while Christelle reproaches her husband for not having asked her for his advice to host her. Forced to accept, the mother of the family however hopes that her new guest will do his own laundry.
During dinner, Charlie invites Anthony for a drink at La Paillote, but he declines because he works early the next day. Christelle, who noticed that she was devouring him with her eyes, reminds her protege that he is much too old for her and also emphasizes that he does not seem at all interested. Despite everything, Charlie is determined to show her that she is not a kid.
