Nathan and Charlie are suspects in Jack’s assault case
Questioned by Aurore, Nathan recognizes the theft of computers and tablets but swears that he is not responsible for sending the videos on the internet. He adds that he resold all the computer equipment and that he does not know the identity of the buyers. Aurore then questions her about Jack’s assault. She thinks Nathan is one of the two attackers. But Nathan replies that it was nothing to do with it.
At the Roussels, Sara tells Jack and Lizzie about the progress of the investigation. But Jack refuses to believe that Nathan could be involved in all of this. He assures us that his attackers were older and that Nathan has always been nice to him. But eventually he remembers the episode of the stolen passport. Nathan understood that he had a crush on Hadrian and that he liked boys.
Back at the police station, Sara announces to Aurore that cash has been found at Nathan’s home, but no trace of the stolen computer equipment. However, analysis of his phone revealed that Nathan had exchanged a lot of messages with Charlie Molina about the raven videos. And while looking at the CCTV cameras at the Christmas market, Roxane discovered that Charlie was present the night Jack was assaulted. She was alone and stayed there for a while.
Martin goes to the Moreno’s to question Charlie, and Charlie doesn’t understand why he’s being accused. Martin then reminds him of his past with Sofia and Bilel Beddiar. Charlie admits that she had a good time seeing all these videos coming out on the networks but assures that she did nothing. And she gives her phone to Martin to prove her good faith.
Roxane, meanwhile, discovered a homophobic group on Facebook where video of Jack’s assault was posted before it went viral thanks to the high school page. And it went back to a certain Lucas Rabbiot, 25, who would have shot the video before posting it, and who has already been convicted of homophobic insults and attacks.
In the middle of an interrogation with Aurore, Lucas ends up confessing. He swings his accomplice Samy, and explains that they just wanted to have fun and relax a bit after a long day by going after Jack. And that they didn’t know Jack before and they didn’t make a date with him. They just recognized him from the video. Lucas also swears he doesn’t know Nathan and Charlie.
Behind one-way glass, Jack has identified his attackers who are going to be imprisoned. But the teenager is not really reassured. He still wonders who made a date with him. Because this person is surely responsible for the video and the homophobic tags. So it could start all over again. But Audrey tries to reassure her son.
While Nathan and Charlie’s involvement in the assault and sending the videos has been ruled out, the Crow, still running much to the chagrin of Prosecutor Perraud, appears to have found two new targets. We see him making a photo montage to make people believe that Angie is sleeping with François Lehaut, his French teacher.
Xavier ends his affair with Chloe
Alex takes Céleste home to Chloe and tells his ex-wife that they celebrated Christmas a little early with Céleste’s soft toys. Xavier, who is having breakfast, seems embarrassed by the obvious chemistry and the perfect understanding that exists between Chloe and Alex.
Once Alex leaves, Xavier tries to have a conversation with Chloe, who says he is delighted at the idea of spending their first Christmas together, but they are interrupted by the arrival of Andrea, Celeste’s new babysitter. And Chloe has to go join Judith, whom she promised to help at Little Spoon today. Xavier therefore decides that their discussion will wait until tonight.
In the evening, on returning home, Chloe discovers that Xavier has prepared a candlelit dinner for her. The latter admits having wanted to please him. He then uncorks a bottle of champagne and announces to Chloe that he has something to tell her. Xavier explains that he was very happy with her this year, but now it’s different. The time has come for them to separate and for him to go. Chloe can’t believe it.
Xavier explains that well …
