XAVIER HAS BEEN OPERATED
After falling from two floors, Xavier was rushed to hospital in serious condition. Suffering from a head trauma and a cerebral contusion, he was placed in an artificial coma and will then be operated on in the afternoon to avoid paralysis of the lower limbs.
For her part, Chloe still cannot believe that her companion tried to end his life. As he was upset by the death of her father, the Delcourt daughter comes to wonder if the man she loves did not want to die the same way.
At the police station, Sébastien meets with Commander Constant to make sure that the police have not heard about recent events. Indeed, the prosecutor refuses that the suicide attempt of his son-in-law to make the headlines in the press in order to preserve his family. Not having enough elements to conclude with certainty a voluntary defenestration, Martin informs him that he has decided to open an investigation. Sébastien, who replaces the prosecutor Meffre in his absence, then agrees to open legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, Anna crosses paths with Raphaëlle in the corridors of the hospital. The latter going through a difficult period, the psychologist invites her to come to her office to unload her anxieties. However, the lawyer prefers to stay focused on her daughters.
Later, Doctor Daunier informs Chloe and Raphaëlle that Xavier’s operation went well but that it is still too early to comment on any possible after-effects. If this is good news for Maud and Camille, it is not the case for Rebecca who fears that her son-in-law will come out of a coma and remember what happened. Indeed, she knows that with Sébastien they would be screwed in such a hypothesis.
A few steps away, William explains to Martin and Aurore that he detected bruises on Xavier’s back during his operation. According to the doctor, someone must have pushed him out the window. There is therefore no longer any doubt for the police that Xavier was the victim of an assassination attempt. Aurore and Martin, who are in the hallway, then hear Rebecca tell her ex-husband that she has not spent thirty years in exile for nothing and then beg him to help her.
JUDITH AND NOA RECONCILE
Judith is still mad at Noa for lying to her about her concept for the Little Spoon. Determined to put all the chances on her side to win, the young woman goes to the Spoon and tries to convince Bart by telling him about the good old days. Unfortunately, their discussion is interrupted by Noa who has come to give Bart a taste of his recipe tests. When the tone rises between the couple, the Vallorta son calls on them to stop and let him make his decision, otherwise he will entrust the Little Spoon to someone else.
Later, Bart makes his decision and chooses Judith to take over the Little Spoon. Indeed, Noa’s project was too ambitious and would have required a financial investment that its cash flow does not allow. A decision that deeply disappoints the young man who sends his girlfriend for a walk when she tries to comfort him.
At the end of the day, Judith goes to the farmhouse and explains to Noa that even if this project is important to her, she is ready to give it up to prevent it from moving them away from each other. For Noa, this is not necessary and he says to himself certain that it will be a hit. This story is now behind them, they kiss.
CHRISTELLE AND CHARLIE TAKE A TRACK ON A GALLERIST
It’s the big day for the Moreno’s who move into Victor Brunet’s villa. The house being already furnished, Sylvain and Christelle fear that their goods do not harmonize with the standard of the house. While Charlie advises them to get rid of their furniture and buy new ones, the social worker refuses and prefers to invest in art to decorate the walls.
Christelle therefore sets out to find a painting and goes to an art gallery. Unfortunately, the gallery owner does not take her seriously and sends her to a DIY store to buy a painting in New York. A humiliation for Christelle who hoped to be respected now that she has the money.
For his part, Charlie …
