In the next episodes of “Tomorrow belongs to us”, Jack comes out in a very touching sequence.
Warning, this article contains many spoilers for the next episodes of Tomorrow is ours. If you don’t want to know anything, don’t read on.
For several days now, Demain Belongs to Us has once again been tackling a strong societal issue: solar harassment. While at the heart of this new dramatic plot called “snowball” Lizzie (Juliette Mabilat) was already a victim of grossophobia, Jack (Dimitri Fouque) will have to face homophobia.
Weakened by the incessant mockery of Internet users on social networks and the grossophobic aggression of which she was the victim, Lizzie will make a dramatic choice in the next episodes of the successful daily TF1. Unable to endure the situation any longer, the teenager will unfortunately commit the irreparable in the episode which will be broadcast this evening.
Even if the teenager should be okay, the Roussel family is not ready to get its head out of the water. Thus, if Lizzie was the first to be the victim of harassment, Jack will in turn be targeted by Agnès Varda’s high school students. While he concealed his homosexuality from his family, a video posted by a crow will reveal it in broad daylight. A malicious and brutal act which will therefore force Jack to come out to his loved ones without having decided.
In a new unpublished extract unveiled in preview on MYTF1, Jack still seems to have taken his courage in both hands to come out to his family.
“JI wanted to talk to you about it, you know, but I wasn’t ready. Suddenly, it did not go as I imagined. », Jack confides to Audrey (Charlotte Gaccio).
As he worries that his mother resents him for not being like the others, Audrey reassures him and adds that the most important for her is that he is happy. Insofar as Jordan (Maxime Lélue) reacted rather badly to the announcement, Audrey assures Jack that it will eventually pass. Then add, “We all love you very much as you are with your personality “.
However, Jack continues to fear that his mother is disappointed that he is not straight. She then says no and only regrets that he did not confide in her so that he feels less alone. After telling him that Lizzie had guessed for some time, Jack tells Audrey that he always knew he was gay. With a smile on his face, he then confesses to her that he has already fallen in love and even mentions his recent crush on Hadrien (Anthony Colette).
But the teenager is not at the end of his sentences since his homosexuality will be at the heart of all the discussions in the continuation of Tomorrow belongs to us. Indeed, the raven does not intend to stop there and could well plunge Jack into turmoil since he will have to face harassment as well as homophobic attacks.
This end of the year does not spare the Roussel family.
