The “Tomorrow is Our Own” producer reflected on recent changes to the show and made some plot revelations with coming. With, on the program, a wedding, a hidden child, and the return of Anna (Maud Baecker).
Since the end of August and the broadcast of the intrigue event centered on the taking of hostages at the Spoon, the novelties have followed one another in Tomorrow belongs to us on TF1, with the discovery of the Agnès Varda high school, where a large group of teenagers evolve. part renewed, and the arrival of many new faces, including Emmanuel Moire, Charlotte Gaccio, Jennifer Lauret, Xavier Deluc, and Thaïs Kirby.
Changes that can obviously disturb viewers, especially since this “reboot” at the start of season 5 coincided with the departure of several key figures from the soap opera, including Juliette Tresanini, Théo Cosset, Marion Christmann, and Rani Bheemuck .
Asked by TV 2 Weeks, Aude Thévenin, the producer of Tomorrow belongs to us, admits that the reactions of some disappointed fans are normal and seems convinced that the public will end up getting used to the novelties recently put in place.
“After four years, in agreement with TF1, we wanted to develop Tomorrow belongs to us, while keeping its fundamentals”, explains Aude Thévenin to our colleagues. “I know from experience that the public is very conservative. When I was working on Household Scenes, every time we introduced a new couple, people would protest, before joining. So I think we have to hold on.”.
And if it is true that some intrigues recently aired on the air have given pride of place to the new families of the series, such as the Roussels or the Lopez Diallo, the producer of Tomorrow belongs to us assures that the flagship characters and adored by the public will continue to be at the heart of strong narrative arches, as is currently the case with Victoire (Solène Hébert) and Georges (Mayel Elhajaoui).

“Even if we have enlarged the cast, there is no question of” drowning “our pillars, on the contrary!”, continues Aude Thévenin. “Solène Hébert is at the center of the current plot, then it will be the turn of Samy Gharbi and Maud Baecker [Karim et Anna, ndlr]. And we are working to put Ingrid Chauvin and Alexandre Brasseur back [Chloé et Alex, ndlr] at the center of the game “.
The producer of Demain belongs to us also takes the opportunity to make some revelations on the twists to come, which will take place on the air by the end of the year. And it will notably be a question of hidden children and marriage, in the purest tradition of soaps.
“The Moreno’s are going to get rich. The opportunity for pure comedy sequences”, reveals Aude Thévenin to Télé 2 Weeks. “And in the episodes aired during the Christmas holidays, there will be two nice surprises for the public. It will be about a hidden child … and a wedding!”.
It remains to be seen which couple will end up passing the ring on their fingers by New Year’s Eve. Could it be Victoire and Georges, if these two manage to overcome the ordeal they are going through at the moment? Of Samuel and Alma? From Roxane and Sara? From Bart and Louise? Or even Martin and Virginie?
Unless the authors of Tomorrow Belongs to Us are planning a surprise (and rather unexpected) wedding between Chloe and Alex. Or between Xavier Meffre and his ex-wife Raphaëlle, who undoubtedly still have feelings for each other. To be continued …
