In the episode of “Tomorrow belongs to us” broadcast this Friday on TF1, the writers of the soap opera had fun slipping a reference to a character from “Here everything begins” at the bend of a sequence with the Moreno. Did you notice it?
Building on its success, Tomorrow belongs to us gave birth last year to a spin-off, Here everything begins, which follows the culinary studies of Maxime (Clément Rémiens) within the Auguste Armand institute, one of the schools of the most famous gastronomy in the country.
Although very different, the two daily TF1 soap operas therefore coexist in the same narrative universe, as several exceptional appearances by Ingrid Chauvin (Chloé) or Luce Mouchel (Marianne) have already proven in Here everything begins, without forgetting the Clément Rémiens’ return in Tomorrow belongs to us on the occasion of the 1000th episode recently broadcast on the front page.
This week, the writers of Tomorrow belongs to us have obviously decided to have fun with this affiliation between the two series since they inserted a nod to Here everything begins in a sequence featuring Christelle (Ariane Seguillon) and Sylvain Moreno (Arnaud Henriet).
In the episode broadcast yesterday on TF1, the Moreno, who recently won several million euros at the casino and are becoming “the Tuche de Sète”, come out of a shop where they have just bought lobster, foie gras, almost veal with truffle, caviar, champagne, and a Norwegian omelet.
And we quickly understand that this shop is none other than that of chef Delobel, introduced a little earlier this year in Here everything begins in the guise of Joseph Malerba (We are going to love each other a bit much), and who has makes its name a real brand, well beyond its starred restaurants.
“So, how does it feel to shop at Delobel?”Sylvain exclaims, delighted with the change in life that he and his wife are experiencing in secret. “It was awesome”, replies Christelle, who has always dreamed of being able to taste dishes of such standing. “You know, I walked past it a lot of times and I said to myself ‘One day, I’ll get in'”.
A fun and furtive wink, that only the fans of Here it all begins have noticed since Greg Delobel (Mikaël Mittelstadt) and his parents, unlike Salomé (Aurélie Pons), Enzo (Azize Diabate), or Anaïs (Julie Sassoust), have never appeared in Tomorrow belongs to us and had never before been mentioned by any of the characters.
We can also hope for more bridges in the future between the two series of TF1 since Clément Rémiens recently confided to us: “What I would really like is to do a little bit of Tomorrow belongs to us and a little bit of Here it all begins, to have more diversity, and to explore a different Maxim. Today I am more often on Here everything starts, and it suits me very well. But it is true that in the future, and I will fight for that, I will try to alternate a little more often. It will be a request on my part “.
In the meantime, the faithful of Here everything begins will very soon be able to find Benoît Delobel and his wife Delphine in the series since Joseph Malerba and Christelle Reboul will resume their roles within a few episodes, when Greg’s parents will come to visit their son, who has just discovered that he is Naël’s father. A rebound which still reserves its share of upheavals for Greg and his loved ones.
