Almost 30 years after the original series, The Favorite Years moved to Disney + in a new version, this time featuring the daily life of a young African-American teenager in the late 60s in Montgomery, Alabama. . Young Elisha “EJ” Williams takes the title role, while Don Cheadle lends his voice to the adult hero telling the story. Check out the first episode on December 22, before a weekly broadcast.
This week, Disney + subscribers will have to say goodbye to two series of choice on the platform: Hawkeye, the most recent original series from Marvel Studios, and the earth-shattering Dopesick miniseries starring Michael Keaton. The final episodes will be available on Wednesday, December 22.
