When a manga becomes popular, the norm is to offer an anime adaptation. And this work is no exception.
Undoubtedly the shōnen Kaiju No.8 is one of the manga of the moment. It has also become the fastest manga to reach one million copies sold. Obviously under these conditions, it is difficult not to imagine an anime adaptation in good and due form.

The account official twitter of Naoya Matsumoto’s work announces that Production IG is in charge of adapting the famous manga. They are best known for having made Ghost In The Shellor the adaptation of the manga Ao Ashi.
For the record, this manga follows the adventures of Kafka Hibino, a 32-year-old man, employee of a Kaijūs cleaning company, monsters of unknown origin but hostile to human beings, finds himself embroiled in the fights between the Kaijūs to the Kaijū Defense Force. Despite his efforts to integrate this prestigious institution, Kafka Hibino, does not succeed… But that will change when, himself, becomes a Kaiju.
For the moment the work consists of 8 volumes. The latest has a release date of November 2022, so it’s still very fresh in readers’ minds. Something to raise the pressure. Alas, the adaptation is announced only for 2024. We will therefore have to take our troubles patiently.
