We are all looking forward to this last season. How will the farewell go with the Pearsons? Are we going to leave all our tissue boxes there? The trailer suggests it …
This Is Us, officially the most tearful series of the 2010s, will soon land for its final season. For Thanksgiving, the most sacred holiday for the Pearsons, NBC has unveiled the first trailer for Season 6.
In these first images, Rebecca (Mandy Moore) wonders about her memory loss and her ability to retain some of her memories as her Alzheimer’s progresses. “I lose my memory. Sometimes I think about what will be my very last memory before the candle goes out“, says the mother of the family as intense moments from the previous five seasons are recalled. Before continuing with an even more touching sentence:
I’m not afraid to forget the most important things, these are the little things that I’m not ready to give up just yet
The final chapter of This Is Us will consist of 18 episodes and will begin with the “Big Three” celebrating their 41st birthday, as all seasons have traditionally started with the birthdays of Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K . Brown).
“The memories we share are never forgotten“, we read on a box of the trailer.”One last chapter, so many chances to make this moment last.“
As we remember, Season 5 ended with a couple ending their story as a flashforward hinted at the second marriage of a member of the Pearson family.
When the last episode of Season 5 aired in May, series creator Dan Fogelman told the magazine People and to other journalists than “everything will be solved“by the end, because the public will get a”true sense of purpose and ending with this family“.
NBC will begin broadcasting in the United States on January 4. We can deduce that Canal + should follow it closely.
