No, it’s not Peter Parker or any of his close friends and associates, but a familiar face from “Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is also used in ‘Ms. Marvel” appear: Arian Moayed will probably play Damage Control Agent Cleary again.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe currently consists of 28 films and six series and, in addition to well-known heroes, now also includes a decent hodgepodge of supporting characters. And some of them keep coming back – like FBI Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park), who became a fan favorite after WandaVision’s “Ant-Man And The Wasp.”
A similar fate could now await another lawman: P. Cleary (Arian Moayed) of the Damage Control Agency is killed after his appearance in “Spider-Man: No Way Home’ namely apparently also in ‘Ms. Marvel” be there.
This emerges from a cast list that is available on various American film sites. In the previous press releases from Germany, however, Moayed’s name has not yet been read. Theoretically, Moayed could play another character (that already happened in the MCU), but we don’t think so.
Cleary was inSpider-Man: No Way HomeThe lead agent who arrested and personally interrogated Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and later Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya) as well as Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) for the alleged murder of Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).
That’s damage control
Damage Control is an organization that has been part of the MCU since Iron Man, but has primarily played a role in the Spider-Man films (previously also in Spider-Man: Homecoming).
The United States Department of Damage Control was originally responsible for maintaining order after incidents involving superheroes and supervillains. However, by the time No Way Home was set, Damage Control had apparently also become some kind of law enforcement agency.
Damage Control in “Ms. Marvel”
And that’s exactly the role Damage Control in general and Agent Cleary in particular could play in “Ms. Play Marvel: Various shots of emergency vehicles, police officers and people in suits could already be seen in the first trailer.
