M6 has announced the next broadcast of “They Were Ten”. The event series with Samuel Le Bihan and Guillaume de Tonquédec will arrive on August 17 on the channel.

After a very long wait, M6 will finally broadcast the French adaptation of the best-selling detective novel in history, with 100 million copies. Series They were ten, produced by Pascal Laugier, takes up the emblematic work of Agatha Christie, originally entitled The Ten Little Negroes.
The M6 series is made up of 6 episodes of 52 minutes, broadcast from Tuesday, August 17 at 9:05 p.m., with two episodes per week. This new adaptation of the bestseller of the novelist is produced by Sophie Revil and Denis Carot.
For the first time on the small screen, the plot is transposed nowadays. The story takes place on an island, which at first glance seems heavenly. However, this stay in the Caribbean will immerse the characters in a terrible nightmare. The tension is at its height and the agonizing suspense will make more than one shudder.
What is going on ?
The story begins when a group of ten people, five women and five men, is a guest in a luxury hotel on a desert island. Very quickly, they will realize that they are on their own. The island is uninhabited. No cell phone, no way to leave this end of the earth, which will turn out to be their worst nightmare.
They were not chosen by chance to integrate this island. Everyone has been invited into this trap because of his past. Obviously, they all took care to bury all these old stories and these heavy secrets. They will have to pay their debts, but at what cost? That of life. In the end, there will be none left. Who is this mysterious assassin?

The breathtaking scenario ofThey were ten is signed Jeanne Le Guillou and Bruno Degas to whom owes Red Wedding or series Gloria. Together, they created an agonizing atmosphere alternating between scenes of survival and flashbacks on the past of the heroes.
The ten guests who can be found on this island are interpreted by Matilda Lutz, Pierre Perrier, Samy Seghir, Manon Azem, Guillaume de Tonquédec, Samuel Le Bihan, Romane Bohringer, Marianne Denicourt and Isabelle Candelier. The cast of this five-star cast is completed by Mathieu Demy, Virginie Ledoyen, Richard Bohringer and Samir Boitard.
